Marie Luise, Princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, is the eldest daughter of the current ruling family of the House of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg. She is the daughter of Princess Benedikte of Denmark and Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, and the granddaughter of King Frederick IX and Queen Ingrid of Denmark.

Marie Luise was born on 8 April 1972, in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is the eldest daughter of the ruling family of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, and is the first in line to the throne. She has four siblings; two brothers and two sisters.
Marie Luise attended the University of Copenhagen, where she studied Political Science. She also attended the University of Ã…rhus, where she studied European Studies. She is currently working as a project manager in the Danish Ministry of Social Affairs and the Interior.

He is the current Chairman of the Board of the House of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and the Chairman of the Board of the European Royal Houses.
